Not sure if it will solve your problem but you could try uninstalling the iCloud control panel for windows (search for iCloud in uninstall or change a program), then reinstall the latest version: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455.

Thanks randers4. I'm not sure why this should have solved the problem, but it did!
But, that now leaves me with my original problem; that is, calendar is not syncing between iPhone 4s and Vista Ultimate and Windows 7 Ultimate. But with this Runtime Error gone, I can now try troubleshootin the sync problem.

You're welcome. Here's an article that may help with your calendar syncing issue (assuming you are syncing via USB rather than iCloud). Often resetting sync history in iTunes will solve this.
