Are there workarounds to install Win 8 on a Boot Camp partition?

I foolishly bought Win 8, deleted my Win 7 Boot Camp install in order to set up a larger partition for Win 8--only to discover after the fact that there is no official Boot Camp support.

Is it possible to reinstall my Win 7 on a Boot Camp partition,

then Boot into the Win 7 install

and from there upgrade to Win 8?

You said all apple win7 drivers being used?

I have no sound, presently, although the Win 8 OS seems to be working fine.

    Any ideas?

I installed windows 7 and used bootcamp on osx to make a driver cd which I used in widnows7 to get everything working

those drivers are still being used now that I updated to windows8 first winupdate found a newer amd gpu driver but it was unstable so I rolled back to the bootcamp cetertificed win7 driver
