Yes, I am in contact with EE (The service provider) but they haven't been very forthcoming about the limitations that the carrier update has imposed.
I was wondering if a) anyone else had encountered this with EE, or any other similar provider and b) if anyone had found a fix.
I appreciate this is a global forum, and I was looking for a global response.
It is possible to reset the carrier settings update by backing up your iphone, erasing all contents & settings & restoring it from the backup. The carrier settings are not backed up at all! ;)
