I have a Mac OS X version 10.4.11 with safari version 4.1.3. How can I upgrade the safari on my computer. Under the Apple heading and upgrades it says there are no upgrades available. But, some programs I want to run say I need a later version of safari. Is my computer too old to get at least a safari 5?

Safari 4.1.3 is the final version to run on Tiger. Safari 5 will only run on Leopard 10.5, Safari 6 only on Snow leopard upwards.
On a PPC Mac you can not upgrade further than Leopard 10.5. This is no longer sold by Apple so you will have to look on Amazon or eBay for a black retail install disk (grey update disks will not work). Be prepared to pay anything up to $200 for Leopard!
Safari for Tiger is old and hasn't been updated for years.
Get a modern browser for Tiger. I use TenFoxFour, an upgrade from Firefox. It's free.

I have the same thing... Reloading after a HD crash my iBook G4 (Early 2004) 14.1 Inch screen 1Ghz, 1.25GB ram to 10.4.11 went to your link but the TenFourFox downloads are no longer available. any other place to get: tenfourfox7450-31/8.0.app.zip or it's equal?
Please idfentify the exact Mac that you have.
