I have an uploaded book I wrote that was published in iTunes that I want to delete.  How do I do that?

If you mean it was placed in the iBookStore either a free or paid book, open your iTunes Connect, select the book and remove territory and and sales rights for all countries.

That will remove it from the iBookstore.. it can never be deleted by Apple,  " for audtitting purposes" ( is what they told me).

If you re-use the title or  change the content..  you will need to re-deliver the book using the  same Vendor ID and wait the usual review. And remembert to go back into iTC and change territory and sales permissions.

Similar to this I added a double ePub book (not purchased from the Apple store) by mistake to my Library File in iTunes 11 (using OSX 10.8) on my iMac which I use to sync my iPad. I know if you don't select it in Books in iTunes it will not duplicate on the iPad when you sync it. It is also easy to delete a book in iPad by using the Edit function. However is there anyway to correct my double entry in the iTunes book Library. So far I have not found it. Thanks

    Hi,

Just by chance I found my own answer. If the iPad is connected to the iMac you cannot delete any book. However, if it is not connected go to the left top menu and select books. You can now delete any selected book, either from the Edit menu or by Control clicking it and selecting Delete or even pressing the Command and delete keys simultaneously.

    Hi,

Further to the above, you can do the same to Apps. Go to Apps in the top left menu of iTunes. This time it actually needs to see the iPad connected. I had searched the Internet for this and many say it cannot be done. The Apps you bought are still kept in your iCloud account though. However they can be hidden there in the accounts section.
