" am trying to move a photo album title "Photo Library" from my iphone 4s to my Mac."
These are the photos that came from your comptuer in the first place. The sync is one way - computer to iphone. As they came from your computer in the first place, they should still be there and should be included in your backup copy of your computer.

Many computers later the photos in question only exist on my iPhone. I have no other way of getting these photos.

What you are seeing is the base design.
Photos in "Photo Library" have come from iTunes, so the program logic is that you don't need to bring these back.
Photos in Camera roll can only be sourced from the iPhone camera so you are always asked to offload these, and you should.
1. If you have Photostream running you can add photos from your Phone Photolibrary to iPhone Photostream and you can pick those up on your computer iPhotostream f you have Photostream running there.
2. There are apps that can move Photos from your iPhone to a computer. One of these is Phototransfer - there are others, and I havenot tried them but they do get good reviews.
Hope this helps...

..and you can also take a screen shot (hold off/on and home button until it clicks) of a picture in Photolibrary and it will save it to Camera roll so you can offload it....... tedious but it works

I was able to add all the photos to my Photo Stream. Then I was able to move the photos from the photo stream (through share) to my Camera Roll. Once done iPhoto was able to import the photo's with ease. Thanks for the help!

I'm a small business owner as a photgrapher its hard to find good photo galleries online that are professional so i use filecamp.com! It is professional slick and great! I can brand my company on there and add my photos there easily and a more better user-friendly way!
