How to purge an address out of Apple Mail

I've been in the tech industry for over 25 years and every now and then something comes along that just defies all logic.  Though I've tried every trick I can find, there is still a bad email address showing up (along with the correct addresses) for one person in Apple Mail.

 

If I open a new message window, then start typing her name, it automatically shows me the options for three email addresses.  Two are valid but one she got rid of over a year ago.  I've long-since removed the bad address from my address book, but it's still showing up when I compose a new email.  Any suggestions appreciated.  Thanks!
