HT4623 FaceTime Icon disappeared on iPhone 4

FaceTime icon was there. FaceTime was working. Now FaceTime icon disappeared. So calls can not be made. But others can call me n I can answer them. Strange. Pl. help with positive solution.

    i usually call people via facetime from their contact in my phone

     

    i dont remember ever having a facetime "app widget" on my iphone just my ipad .. there is a facetime option in the contact

     

    if it was there for u you can checck this:  Settings>General>Restrictions. Make sure that it wasn't turned off in restrictions. 

     

    Swipe from screen to screen to see if it was moved to a folder on another screen.

     

    other then that it does not exist

    There has never been a facetime icon on the iphone.

    There never has been a FT icon on the iPhone. Only on the iPod and iPad. FT functionality can be accessed from the person's contact. You should see a FT button in the person's individual contact.
