Currently Being ModeratedApr 12, 2011 12:28 PM (in response to Ben Tibbetts)LaCie also offers a driver http://www.lacie.com/download/drivers/LaCie%20USB%203.0%20Driver.dmg
The only problem though is, that the driver only works with LaCie hard drives. I can tell because I bought the same card last week and now am struggling with LaCie support who tells me to go ask Western Digital or Apple for a proper driver - what nonsense that is.MacBook Pro 2008, Mac OS X (10.6.7)

I bought this Expresscard too and I am facing the same problem...
The drivers Magpoc gave don't work for this card.
I tried also with Sonnet driver but that has made no changes.
Any idea before I send back to Amazon this non compatible card?

I installed LaCie driver too. No way...
It's now x4 faster than USB2, but I am far from super high speed:
Write -> 85MB/s
Read -> 112MB/s
Is it the max that my MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo could could expect through the Express card?
