Have you tried resetting your network settings, Go to settings, general, reset, reset network settings.

Yes, I'm still having the problem. I looked on google, and people seem to be having this same issue everywhere.

Its a issue with the antenea in the iphone 5 itself. I have the exact same issue, happens to me about 10 times a day or more, depending on how much I use my phone. I have tried every solution apple supplies and none of them help at all, eventually it goes right back to messing up. Its a hardware issue. My wife has an iphone 5 as well, I have taken her phone and mine and ran the same apps and internet sites side by side and mine crapped out and had to be reset while hers ran just fine. I have discovered that if I remove mine from the cheap plastic cover it will actually last a little longer and run slightly faster, for a little bit at least. My suggestion is to narrow down how to make it lose connection, I run Iheartradio, facebook, check my email, and surf a website and it will lose connection everytime. Once you have it narrowed down, take it to an apple store and let them try their ******** attempts to fix it, force it to lose connection, and get it replaced with another phone. Once you have the new phone, do the same thing to try and make it lose connection. Keep doing this till you get a phone that does not lose connection. I've read several posts in other forums where this was done and problem solved. As for me, I'm setting up my appointment to go to apple and do this till I get one that works. Hope this helps people.
