Okay I dropped my iPhone one day on it's back side (with a back case too) and it automatically turned off. I have no warranty so I'm trying to replace the parts but I'm not quite sure where the problem is coming from.

The iPhone:

  • Black screen, doesn't make sounds from power button.
  • iTunes recognizes it, but the time it takes to recognize it varies from instantly to a couple of minutes. The iPhone beeps when it's connected.
  • The battery bar on iTunes doesn't seem to be filling up from charging
  • The phone vibrates when I toggle the vibrate button

Okay from the looks of it the phone is broken but it'd be nice if any of you have suggestions as to what the problem is. I don't hope for much but it's worth a try

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.0.1
