How do I upload my iphone music to my MacBook Pro without deleting the music that I already have on my MacBook Pro?
Music sync is one way. Computer --> iPhone.
You can transfer purchased items from your phone to the computer using File>Transfer Purchases in iTunes.
Attempting to sync the phone with a computer/iTunes library it is not set up to sync with will erase the media from the phone. NOT the computer.
Connect the phone to your computer, right click on it in iTunes, and choose "Transfer Purchases"
I have an iphone4 & a new MacBook pro. I connected my iphone4 to update the o.s & lost all my music, do I have the music anywhere on my new macbook pro (lion)??
Also, can i sync music from iphone5 to my macbook pro without deleting the music on PHONE???
Did you actually bother reading the posts in this thread?
yes.. but neither of it answers my questions!
Transfer the music from your old computer to the new one. The music isn't on the new one unless you put it there.
You can not sync to a new iTunes library without erasing the media from your phone first.
Follow the steps given here to get your iPhone synced to another computer.
Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard
