Can someone help me with my issue? I got an iPhone 5 from US to India the unlocked version 32gb. My friend has sent it from there. Now I am having battery drain issue and heating issue. I want to go to the apple service centre and check for replacement or a repair. Sonoma need bill for that. Can I get that online anywhere? Or the only option is to ask my friend to fax it to me?

Or can someone help me with this battery drain issue? :-(

You won't get the bill. Your friend has to send it to you.

Battery drain may be caused by the iOS update. If it is so, then it should be alright after next update.

Sometimes people also think, that they have a drain issue, but they don't. How long does your battery last?

When you use your iPhone a lot, it will be like 5 hours of usage and about 1 day standby. That's how mine is too.

Getting a copy of the reciept/bill will not benefit you in any way.

iPhone warranty is not and has never been International.

Warranty and support are ONLY valid in the country of origin.  The ONLY exception is for devices purchased in the EU as the entire EU is considered one country for warranty and support purposes.

If you believe your device has hardware issues, ship it to your friend in the US.  They can then take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.  Once resolved, this friend can ship the device back to you.  Shipping both ways is at your expense.

Restore as new, if the problem continues, it may be a faulty battery or a damaged device.

Unlikely... but honestly no one here would have any way of knowing.

Also while accessing Itunes and App stores, its not working through Wifi. I cannect these through Mobile data alone.

Most likely an issue with the Wi-Fi connection and not the device.

Is there any chance that I can go back to iOS 6.01 itself?

There is no supported method to downgrade.

and without bill can I repair my mobile by paying amount in service center here in India?

No, the device cannot be serviced in India with or without the receipt.

Warranty and Support are ONLY valid in the country of origin.  You can take it to any local business that works on electronics and pay them to attempt to fix the issue... doing so WILL void any warranty on the device and will likely brick the device.

It is a problem with the Wi-Fi connection if it works fine over Cellular data.

Does the same issue occur when connected to other Wi-Fi networks?

It is simply something on that Wi-Fi connection is blocking access, it could be firewall setting.
