First of all - you are using the iPad in the forum - correct? What browser are you using? I have seen that behavior in the Atomic and Mercury browsers but not in Safari.
You can identify the browser in the browser settings as a desktop version if using a browser with that capability and that may cure that issue
I don't see that same behavior in Safari which I am using right now on the iPad. I rarely use Safari anymore but for test purposes I am responding in the Safari browser now.
You might try toggling the Auto caps setting in Settings>General>Keyboard>Auto Capitalization>Off and On. Turn it off and on and see if that does anything.
Have you tried clearing Safari?
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Something else that might help .... and I stress might .... Is to reset the keyboard dictionary. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Keyboard Dictionary. The only thing is that will remove any "learned" words that you have in the keyboard.
A final thing to try would be to reboot the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
However, I honestly don't know if any of these things will work, but none of them cause any harm and they are easy to try.
