You are working with quite an old OS if your profile is right ... but I suspect it isn't. Force quit is used by some but the following link shows another way ... if your OS is even higher than I'm thinking.

Well the articles in the knowledge base did not solve my problem. My profile was out of date however. The solution was deleting the app and then I was able to find it in purchased not installed and click the cloud icon. But thanks for the reply. I appreciate it.
