This is my reply to WhatsApp:

    Hallo!

Thanks for your reply but is very disappointing!

I bought a product from WhatsApp and we agreed that you
would from time to time update this product but never have
you stated that maybe one day you would make this bought
product useless. And that it is now!

So if you declare now that WhatsApp will no longer work
on my wife's iPhone 3G anymore I would like to have a refund
via iTunes. Please let me know what details to need to make
    this refund.

    Kind regards,

    Liekele Helmus

PS Or you can give me detailed instructions how I can get
a copy of WhatsApp 2.8.4. that makes it legally possible to be
uploaded on my wife's iPhone 3G
    LH

PS 2) next time I will tell them that without any advanced warning

they stopped the functioning of WA on my wife's iPhone 3G

I did not say you work for Apple - judging from the tone of your posts I don't think they would employ you.

I just worked out that I can buy 13 Galaxy Pockets for the price of one iPhone5.  That should last way longer than 4 1/2 years, and will most likely still be supported / upgradable with Android.  If not, I can buy a new one every 4 months and stay current!

I still do not get what you are doing on this forum working yourself up if it does not affect you???

Don't feed the trolls Les@. I guess Apple is something like a religion for him.

No. Logic is. Something that seems to be sorely lacking in most of you posting in this thread.

    Hi,

my watsapps is working now in my Iphone 3G.

FYI, i reinstalled the WhatsApp Messenger version 2.8.4 by using the old version of Itunes. I tried in the latest Itune but is not working, there was an error pop up while installing the watsapps. After reinstalled, i start whatsapps in my phone and i found system start verified my phone number instead of asked me to upgrade IOS 4.3 or above like last time.

WhatsApp Messenger version 2.8.4 for iPhone 3G the end version iOS 4.2.1,

I am very lucky that I can found a old version of app from my old PC application folder then drop to iTunes again,

it working now in my iPhone 3G,

Before drop the app, remember zip the app first,

If not it will be replaced if any update action, keep it not up date whatsapp from today if you are using old iPhone.

If you never keep the apps back up only JB can help you,

Apple I'd is write in to the app, not allow use by other user.

So check your other iTunes folder may be a good luck will come to you.

    Dear L,

Thank you for contacting iTunes Store Support. My name is Roy and I'd be happy to assist you.

I know how disappointing it can be, not being able to enjoy the application "WhatsApp" that you have purchased from the App Store. Don't worry, I will sort this out to your satisfaction.

Lieke, as much as I would like to help you resolve your concern, I could not locate the account being used to purchase the application based on the information you provided. Kindly reply to this email with the right account used upon purchasing the application.

Please also include the order number of the App Store purchase you've made using that account. iTunes Store order numbers begin with the letter "M" or "W," and you'll find them in your iTunes Store email receipts.

You can find your order numbers on your email receipts and in your Purchase History. If you need to review your Purchase History, follow the steps in this article:

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2727

I look forward to receiving your reply. Once I have the information, I will get back to you. Thank you for being an iTunes Store customer; Apple appreciates your business.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Sincerely,

Today my wife got a tablet Lenco TAB-1014 Android 4.0 delivered. She was a prizewinner there.

I read in the instructions about possibility of Dongel and simcard etc.

Pure experimenting I donwloaded WhatsApp as first App. I put on the phonenumber of my wife and

so got a textmessage wth verification code. Put in this code on the tablet, had to wait 4 min's et voila!

WhatsApp is up and running on this tablet without a simcard! All the missed messages came streaming in as well.

Did first app conversation and am stunned.

Bye bye Apple!!! Bye bye forum

Anybody with a double-digit IQ realises this whole thread has nothing at all to do with Apple.
