I have recently download Mountain Lion on my macbook (2010 late model white) which had snow leopard previously.

Back and forward on trackpad only works on my internet browser (two fingers side to side motion depending on back/forward)

I try to use this feature on my finder and iphoto but it doesn't work. If i want to back out from a folder, i have to click on back button. (trackpad doesn't work).

Also, if i am on iphoto in single-photo view, i have to press on arrow keys to navigate through next/previous photos.

I've checked my trackpad setting and everything seems to be right.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Thank You

MacBook, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8)
