I have an iphone 4 originally simlocked to orange France. when i first got it, i was told that i can have it permanently unlocked for 79 euros right now, or wait 3 months after my contract and unlock it then. now currently im not in france, the contract expired, so technically it is my legal right to have it permantently unlocked. when i contact Orange, they ask me for the client number and gsm number that i owned, which i have lost. they tell me i cant unlock it without knowing those details. I find it pretty unfair, they can make sure that the iphone is indeed an orange locked iphone through the IMEI, and its being older than a year, they should unlock it. can apple help me with this?

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1
