If you have a 15 or 17-inch MacBook Pro, you can use the 85W power adapter, but if you have a 13-inch MacBook Pro, you have to use the 60W power adapter

Jan 19, 2013 11:17 AM in response to mende1by OGELTHORPE,mende1, greetings: One may use a 85w power adapter on a 13" MBP with out harm.. The 13" MBP will draw as much power as it needs and no more.
