I was having issues with snow leopard on my MacBook Pro so I had a friend do a clean install and load Mountain lion onto my computer, however now I'm missing the iLife applications, I had done a time machine backup before restoring everything, if I hit command R on startup and do a restore from time machine will my iLife applications be restored, and will I still have mountain lion?

    Connect the Time Machine HDD to your MBP.  Start MBP holding the OPTION key and it will display two HDD icons.  Select the one on the right, the recovery HDD icon and you will then see a four option menu.  Select the Time Machine backup option.  If the iLife applications are not restored, open Time Machine and restore the individual applications.
