When i click on a .pdf link i get  a message saying:

'The Adobe Acrobat/Reader selected for viewing PDF documents in browsers cannot be found at its installed location; it may have been moved or deleted. Please reinstall or repair the application. (16:9)'

It all worked fine till I installed the full version of adobe reader, I don't necessarily want adobe reader to vie pdf's in safari, im happy with Preview

Im running Safari 6.0.2

Any thoughts on what I need to do please.

The standard thing to try first, I think, is to delete Adobe stuff from

    /Library/Internet Plug-ins.

(You can get there by pasting that path into the "Go to Folder..." dialog in the Finder Go menu.)

    Restart Safari.

This is meant to stop Adobe from trying to do the PDF viewing in web browsers.

    Did that work?

There are no referance to any adobe programs or plug-ins in the  /Library/Internet Plug-ins  folder.

The only files in there are

    fbplugin_1_0_1.plugin

    fbplugin_1_0_3.plugin and

    Google Earth Web Plug-in
