issues with Netflix on Apple TV

Dear all,


I have an apple tv 3generation, software up todate, a fibre optic internet connection.


I have issues with netflix: the program I try to watch keep crashing;  it either goes back to the film menu or the image goes and the sound stays on and i have to rewind to have the image back on again.

I've worn out two Netflix people on their customer service. I've refreshed the app by logging out and unplugging the apple tv, powercycled the apple tv with my router, i've reset the settings, i've updated the software to the latest update but it still ends up crashing at some point. I'm running out of ideas and would appreciate some support. anyone has experienced similar issues?? Many thanks in advance!

    I have the same sort of problem, but I now can't even login to netflix. Was working fine and now both Netflix and youtube refuse to connect.


    I have done a reset, and all the other gimmickry but with no luck at all.


    Is there something that should be done?
