Jan 20, 2013 1:25 PM in response to Dors25by Bob Timmons,You likely have an older "round" AirPort base station that does not support "n" wireless.
AirPort Utility on the iPad cannot be used to configure these older devices.
You will need to use a Mac or PC to configure the AirPort Extreme. Once configured, the iPad will be able to connect to the wireless signal from the AirPort Extreme....it just cannot be used to make any configuration changes to the Extreme.

Jan 21, 2013 8:46 AM in response to Dors25by edex67,Open AirPort Utility. Click on your AirPort and click Manual Setup. Click Wireless. Where it says "Wireless Security" change this to WPA2 Personal. Where it says Wireless Password and Verify Password type your password.
