No, I bought a "replacement battery", because I didn't want to spent 140€ to see that is not the battery which is broken.
The new one should work, even if it's not original by Apple. I know many people who had great experiences with the cheaper ones.
As I said I know two other guys at work who have the same problem, this can't be by chance!
Non Apple batteries have a mixed history, some work and some have very short life spans. If it is new, it seems that you should approach the vendor for a replacement
All batteries fail eventually, but if used correctly should last 3+ years. My 2006 MBP has a second battery installed and has provided 4 years of good service. The original lasted a little more than 2 years.
I really don't think that the battery is the problem. But I asked them for replacement, just to be sure. I think its a software thing!!!!
I had 2 batteries before and just bought this new third one, because the second wouldn't charge anymore.
Check the stats from my new battery:

It seems that a repair facility will have to diagnose the problem. I have no other advice to offer for your situation.
I do not know the impact of shipping costs and import duties, but you may want to consider this option:
This may be less than the 140 euros that you mentioned and it comes from a reputable vendor.
