I just bought a MBP 13'' (only a week and a half ago) and I can't shut it down because when I try, a note appears saying that iPhoto is importing, but the thing is I only tried to import one or two photos to test it, I haven't even imported the photos I have on my old PC.

When I open the app it appears to be importing but the bar never moves.

I have already tried to make it run out of baterie, but when i reconnect it to the charger the problems come back.

Does anybody know I can shut down iPhoto, or reset the Mac without losing the programs I have installed?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for the bad english.
