Q: when I am trying to sync ipod touch it is freezing and not allowing me to go any further

I restored my ipid touch earlier today and now when I am trying to sync it, itunes just freezes and doesnt allow me to do anything, it has instructions on how to set up a new ipod touch but doesnt allow me to click anything but done which then takes me back to my music
