My daughter found her old Ipod after it has been missing for several years.  This Ipod was hers since 13 yrs old and she is now 18yrs.  Now I will use the Ipod since it still works but I cannot erase her music since the initial email used to purchase music is not longer valid.  Itunes will not do anything until an email confirmtion occurs.  How can I get around this and just delete all the music?

If you are Syncing the iPod with the same Library as before, simply Restore the iPod. The Restore command is on the iPod/Summary pane which you can access when the iPod is connected to the iTunes Library. A Restore will remove everything form the iPod.

If you are Syncing the iPod with a different Library, when  you plug it in to the iTunes, you should see a message telling you that all the content on the iPod will be removed and the content from the iTunes Library will be put on it instead.

That's all there is to it. You should not need any email ID or "confirmation", beyond confirming that you want to delete the current content.
