Q: Upgrading OS from 10.6.8 to OSX Mountain lion failed although  all requirements are right.Error message: Os x cannot be installed be on this disk Macintosh HD because a recovery system can't be created.because  How to fix it ? Thanks for help

Although the error message is different, the causes are generally the same as in this support article:

 

OS X: "Some features of Mac OS X are not supported for the disk (volume name)" appears during installation
