Q: iMac 2011 display problem

hello everyone

 

i have a one problem with my iMacs display

 

at the bottom of the display have light gray shadow

 

but At some angles not seen this shadow

 

i'll upload photo to show this problem :

(It is hard to see the picture and look carefully at the picture)

    It may be a variant of the smudged screen issue of which there have been copious posts.   If your Mac is covered by AppleCare warranty, take it back to the store.   They are obliged to examine and repair accordingly.    I hope you had the foresight to buy the policy; it is the cheapest computer insuance you can get.

    i am in iran and my country dont have orginal apple store

     

    but This problem is not very serious and Many people say this problem on the web

     

    I bought only 4 days ago ...

     

    now ... In your opinion, is this a big basic problem? my display have problem or it is a normal problem ?

    I have that problem with the display too !  I have some gosts in the display and hope that my warranty will work out and hopes will not take it to long till I fix this problem !

    It would be hard to say precisely but I think it could be resolved.   Leave it for a while and see if it worsens.

     

    When you do get round to it, providing you are technically competent, you can remove the screen yourself, clean it and replace it.   There are one or two YouTube sites that will show you how by video but you must approach it with caution.

     

    If you are unsure and have a trustworthy quality computer store in your area it may pay you to let them do it.

     

    As there is no official Apple representation in Iran, it is unlikely you have any form of guarantee or AppleCare so your options are limited.  I wish I could be more positive.
