Simply reboot the TC to get access..
But did you drag the files inside the sparsebundle.. that would be very bad.
Any files dragged to TC and deleted on the computer will have no backup and no possiblity of backup by time machine. Things die.. then what happens to the files.
Just answered that question.
People should learn the TC has limitations.. it is a sealed unit and when things go wrong Apple doesn't help.
I have bought my 2TB TS yesterday and did full backup of my imac and macbook air. But, i also wanted to transfer some movies, so I wanted to do it manualy. And, I went fo finder and accidentaly transfered that movies in folder called something like "timecapsule backuping" instead of "name timecapsule". When transfer was finished, i couldnt see those movies (folder) because (now i know) that folder "timecapsule backuping" shows only when TS is backuping. So, i then started backup, that folder opened again, and then i could see movies folders, which i transfered back to my computer.
That didnt mess up my TS ?
Yes, it messed up the backup.. you will need to erase the TC and start over..
You must setup the TC properly if you want to mix data with it.
See Q3 here. http://pondini.org/TM/Time_Capsule.html
It is better to use a USB drive on your computer and then TM can back it up.. once it is on the TC ,, you have no way to backup the files you copied automatically without buying a 3rd party software.
You need to erase the disk via the airport utility.
You cannot delete files inside the sparsebundle that is owned by TM. For whatever reason you can copy them there.. just not out again.
Of course if you already deleted the files on the computer don't do it.. you will have to find someway out of the situation.. but assuming you still have all the files on the computer.. start afresh.. create a disk image for your files.. but as Kappy stated.. this is still not the best.. the TC is not that reliable and you MUST figure out a way to backup those files.
I think i was not very concise. Let me say again: I have transfered fodler "movies" into (finder, left side) folder called "time capsule is backuping" which shows only during backup. And after it disapears. So, i started backuping again, that folder appeared again, I erased "movies" there, and then transfered to real adress (left side, timecapsule folder > data > new folder". I think i didnt messed up nothing. But just wanted to be sure
