Jan 23, 2013 5:06 AM in response to TheEntireSkyby mende1,Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
Can you copy those messages here? Normally, your computer works correctly with those problems, but if you note that your computer doesn't work correctly, copy them here so we can know what process belongs to those errors

Jan 23, 2013 5:34 AM in response to TheEntireSkyby mende1,You shouldn't be worried about them. The errors are referring to Spotlight, but if it works properly, you don't have to worry about it. Also, your first messages aren't errors, because they just indicate that your Mac is connected to a network

Jan 23, 2013 5:41 AM in response to mende1by TheEntireSky,Thanks for your repsonses, but in English words like 'fail', 'deny', 'unable' are common words for errors and problems.

Jan 23, 2013 5:44 AM in response to TheEntireSkyby mende1,★HelpfulI have searched more about your errors, and it looks like they are common on OS X 10.8.2, as many people are reporting this with slowness and unusable Macs, but you don't notice this. See > http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1446854

Jan 23, 2013 5:50 AM in response to mende1by TheEntireSky,somebody in that link says I should trash
System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.afpstat.plist
but then someone else says don't do it.
This is my first computer and I don't want to break it.
Does anyone know if this is true?

Jan 23, 2013 5:53 AM in response to TheEntireSkyby mende1,That file has nothing to do with lsboxd process. I recommend you to start into safe mode, pressing Shift key while your Mac is starting, and then, reboot again. On the link, some people did it and solved that problem, so it could be related to cache problems

Jan 23, 2013 5:56 AM in response to mende1by TheEntireSky,That's what it said in the thread, but they didn't explain what lsboxd process is, and the first person thought otherwise, so I'm not sure they know or are just guessing. That's why I asked if anyone know if its true.
What is lsboxd process?

Jan 23, 2013 6:04 AM in response to TheEntireSkyby John Galt,TheEntireSky, those Console messages occur normally. As mende1 wrote, ignore them.
Thanks for your repsonses, but in English words like 'fail', 'deny', 'unable' are common words for errors and problems.
There is no need to examine your Console logs unless you are experiencing problems with your Mac.
somebody in that link says I should trash
System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.afpstat.plist
That's a good way to cause problems with your Mac.
Do I need to install the operating system?
It is already installed.
Stop worrying about this.
If you are having problems using your Mac, explain the symptoms.

Jan 23, 2013 6:25 AM in response to John Galtby TheEntireSky,IF your read my post you'll see I already explained the symptoms, and just coming out with a 'stop worrying about it' answer is patronising and shows you don't know the answer. If you don't know what the symtoms are, what is it you want me to "stop worrying about"?
