I work for a software company, we have developed a web-based application that uses Ajax to build grids in the interface. We have identified the known bug missed by apple, in the 6.0.1 release. We would like to download the beta version of iOS 6.1 to test with so that we can recommend what our clients should do.

The previous version of iOS worked fine....

We paid the Service Fee of $99.00 last year, any help would awesome.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities

To access to iOS beta releases, you have to register on the iOS Development Program > http://developer.apple.com

Mende 1 can you ensure that 6.1 is available in beta?

Just search on the Internet iOS 6.1 and you will see information about it. You can only talk about beta releases on a developer's forum, and you are under a non-disclosure agreement installing it

I will correspond with our clients that we are not able to determine if there is a known version for the iPad that will resolve the known Ajax problem on the iPad, for this reason we will be recommending that our client base review alternative mobile devices, and we will revise our application in an effort to accommodate this issue.

Hi - I am an ordinary Apple consumer, not a developer. I got an update message on my iPhone 5 this morning asking me to update to iOS 6.1 beta 4. The message also made it clear that this update was for devices assigned for development of iOS 6.1 only (which of course my phone is not). I have contacted Apple tech support, who could not explain why I received this update message. My iPad 4 also updated today to ordinary 6.1 with no problem. Naturally, I have not allowed the iPhone update to go ahead.

I would be interested to know if anyone else has experienced the same thing and whether or not there is a specific reason why Apple sent me this version of the update. I am in the UK.

Thanks in advance for your feedback on this issue.
