HT4528 My iPhone 4 has a software issue and is eligible for a replacement phone for a cheaper price than a new one. If I want to replace my current iPhone 4, can I keep my current plan or do I need to change my plan with my carrier?

My iPhone 4 has a software issue and is eligible for a replacement phone of the same model at a cheaper price than a new phone, however, can I upgrade my iPhone 4 to a better model and still keep my current plan (talk, texts & data)?

iPhone 4, iOS 6.0.2, Not yet eligible for an upgrade
