No matter how many times I mark something with a thumbs down in mail 6.2, the subsequent crap they send keeps showing in my inbox. Why & how can I make sure it goes straight to trash w/o having to do a rule because every chinese factory in the world sends us requests & I would spend hours just making rules.

Can anyone help me stop email from companies marked as spam from reappearing when they try to email me again???

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!!

Mac Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 1TBHD, 12GB Ram

What happens if you Right click on it & choose Mark>:as Junk Mail to train it?

Sorry, I'm nearly blind, couldn't make out what that icon was... I hate icons, but yes I do have it, & yes it does take time to train it, no idea if yours will or not.

I get so little spam in a year or two it's tough to tell.
