Q: Is the Fusion Drive option installed on my knew imac?

Hi,

I've just received my knew imac. I ordered it with the fusion drive option. But before opening the box

I 've checked the labels, and non is mentionnig fusion drive or SSD. Only 1To 5400 rpm. Is there a way

To check wheter or not I've got my option. Prioritairly without opening the box.

It won't be labelled on the box or the iMac itself. You'll have to wait until after you've powered it up and run the Setup Assistant to find out.

At that point, you can click on the Apple menu at the top left, then click on About This Mac....click on More Info on the resulting screen...then click on Storage.

Ive tried out your method, but nothing close to fusion drive tech, or ssd, is mentioned. Thanks.
