Why is there no AppleTV app for streaming Amazon Prime Streaming?  It is also not possible to use Airplay if you are streaming Amazon Prime on your iPad.  Why is Apple making the user experience so restrictive?

Why would Apple put Amazon on the Apple TV-Purchase from iTunes.

its Amazon that block AirPlay from streaming to the Apple TV-Same solution, purchase from iTunes.

That's an awful answer Winston. I'm sorry, but in America we have this thing called competition that encourages innovation and drives down prices. Try again.

Where have you been?!?  That has not been the case for a long time!  What we have is copyright holders telling you where you can and can not watch our content.  And encrypting your content so you are locked out of it by default so they can then control where you are allowed to watch it.  So Apple's devices can not play content from Amazon or from XBox live, etc.  Just like those devices can not play content from Apple.  T

There is next to no shot of Apple being able to play content from Amazon or vice versa.  There is also not really a need to since as mentioned you can just buy it from iTunes Store.

Asuuming they've even tried, Apple and Amazon have not come to an arrangement to allow this service on AppleTV.  That is it, plain and simple.

Maybe Amazon or Apple don't want to. Petition them both, it might happen.

Are you really blindly turning Apple into the victim here? Amazon until recently hasn't really been in the hardware game (I'm not counting the early Kindle's). They have relied on others for distributing their content - Xbox 360, PS3, Roku, Android etc. Why would Amazon actively limit usage for consumers with Apple products? That's insane.

False. Amazon Prime members have access to unlimited free instant video, right? Even without prime, the prices are competive. Amazon new release rental: $3, Apple: $4.

But yes, clearly this is just the nature of the industry right now. You guys are on the right track, but this kind of thing will probably get worse before it gets better. Heck, you'd probably have to wait for government to get involved...
