I want to find the expiry date of my Apple Dot Mac now iCloud account.

The iCloud prefs panel on my desktop Mac OSX only shows me storage options..as far as I can make out

The iTunes store account only shows me iTunes match..as far as I can make out

The prefs panel on iCloud mail with a browser only gives me Vacation and similar options..as far as I can make out

Intel 27" Imac & MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.5), I can remember E-world!

What do you mean by "expiry date"?  Of what...  iCloud account?  iTunes account?  iTunes Match account?

My email account. What was once called Dot Mac.

There is no expiry date.  An icloud account can never be removed/deleted/buried.  You can disconnect it from any device or computer.

Perhaps you bought additional storage for the account.  System Preferences>iCloud, click Manage button, then View Account.  This tells you when your non-free plan expires.

once upon a time, a user renewed their Dot Mac account, and that was the 'account'

so now the mail account is open ended, the renewal item is the Storage?

    Thanks

if one clicks on "about safari" in the toolbar, one sees : Safari 5.0.6 copyright 2203-2011 : the real question is the maintnance of this version of safari, especially in the light of firefox ceasing to maintain former versions .

The basic iCloud account comes with 5GB of storage and is free, and so will never expire. If you had extra storage with a MobileMe account and migrated it, you have complimentary extra storage until the end of September at which point it will revert to 5GB unless you pay to renew it. If you buy extra storage it will need to be renewed annually; if not renewed the account will revert to 5GB, but the account itself will never expire (even after you do, as far as we know).

This has nothing at all to do with the subject of this thread.
