That is good, as are these here (I have 2 LaCie's and 1 OWC):
I prefer staying with a somewhat smaller size and having more than one; as all drives will eventually fail, having all of your backups on one drive is not the best idea. I have two backups of everything spread across the three drives, so if one goes, I'll still have a copy on another one.

For what it's worth, I have two OWC "Voyager" docking stations with FW 800 I/F.
Then I have - just counted - 23 "naked" SATA drives from various manufacturers and capacities from 500 GB to 2TB that go into the docking stations.
This allows me to simultaneously connect two daisy-chained FW800 external drives to my 27" iMac with total flexibility, for running FCPX projects, then backing them up, archiving, etc.
Also, buying the plain SATA drives is cheaper than enclosed drives and you can select any manufacturer you want.
Would recommend looking into that. No connection to OWC or anything, just a satisfied user.
