Jan 25, 2013 3:04 PM in response to sdpageby rkaufmann87,★HelpfulI have asked the moderator to remove your serial number, it's dangerous to incorporate personal information into a public forum. I'd recommend visiting Crucial's website or www.macsales.com to buy RAM, your machine wil accomodate up to 6GB of RAM. 1x2GB DIMM and 1x4GB DIMM.

Jan 25, 2013 3:12 PM in response to sdpageby MichelPM,Then install the Max. RAM
OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion uses a lot more CPU, GPU, RAM and hard drive resources.
OS X 10.8 will need all of this RAM to keep your wife's iMac running smoothly.
Good Luck!
