HT2500 how to check mail size before sending?

it used to be at the bottom right of the my new message box

but now i can't find it

    Hi!

         My message size shows up on the bottom left-hand corner, to the left of the image sizing menu, ie, small, medium, actual size, etc....

         What happened is that you turned off the "Size" column in your Message Viewer. When you do that, oddly enough, it disappears from the Composition view as well. Go to: View > Columns > Size, to turn it back on.

         It should be showing you the entire size of the message, including text. In the example I took a screen shot of, I just attached a couple of things that were sitting on my Desktop, the largest being a PDF file. Without that PDF, the message size is only 293 KB, as opposed to 22.6 MB.

         Create a new message. What do see if you attach a couple of large files, which aren't JPEGs?
