Randomly, parts of the screen will glitch and not display the correct thing.

Example, on a small section of the screen will duplicate and show up on a different part of the screen.

Example2, when typing (in Safari, Word, TextEdit, etc.) what I type does not show up until I move another window over it so it rerenders the screen. (Fun fact, this happened as I wass typing this post)

OS X Mountain Lion

MacBook Pro Late 2011

Processor: 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB

Software: OS X 10.8.1

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Your machine is less than a year old, and it sounds like you have a hardware problem.  Apple will fix it for no charge.

If you're in the U.S., here's how to contact them: http://www.apple.com/support/contact/

It only happened after I updated to ML. And I've heard others having this issue.

    Here's a troubleshooting article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1573

Hopefully one of the suggestions under "No video or no signal, image distortion, snow, or flickering" will help.

I get the exact same thing. It shows up randomly, sometimes on a static page, sometimes over a portion and only a portion of a streaming video. It's most likely to happen if I click on an arrow for a "show" box (like show these comments, hide these comments), then the comments are skewed like yours or blank for a 2"x2" (more or less) section over the clicked area. Also, I can be typing and it'll only show say up to "THIS" point when in fact I've typed up to "THIS" point. Then it'll catch-up. Has been doing this since I started getting updates (it didn't do it when I first bought it around November of last year).

Any help would be very appreciated.
