I am a new apple user and made the same Apple ID for both of my kids Ipods, which ended up connecting them.  I have tried to unconnect them and now neither one can download apps or go into iCloud.  What do I need to do???  I am so frustrated.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.

What exactly do you want to acheive. Do you want them to have seperate iTunes accounts, so they each buy their own content but can't share that content between them. What about personal data such as mail, contacts, calendars etc, I assume you want this seperate.

I assume you already have an Apple ID, has this been used yet to purchase any apps, music, books etc.
