While working yesterday suddenly my display changed and now I cannot get the desktop to fit in my monitor on my iMac. For exxample on the startup desktop I cannot get the Q on the right and the apple on the left ofthe menu bar to show. The display always seems to be one or two inches too wide and I cannot see the doc, as it is 1 inch below the bottom of the screen. I cant figure what is going on, I tried every resolution, even at 1260/768 it shows a smaller screen than the display and is truncated the same way , no apple and no Q in the top menu. Any ide how I can get back? I am using 1280 x 800 resolution now and that is what I think it was set for before. I can zoom in and out on individual application displays but cannto get the main desktop to fill the screen without lossing part of the information. I can make the apple show on the right side but then I cannot get over to the right side of the menu at the top where part of the time is trucated.
