What are ways to monitor the performance of the Push Notification system?  Is there a way to avoid getting into code?  Is there a way to script it?  Any diagnostic or monitoring applications, or a tricky way to set something off when a notifcation is sent or received?

Thanks!

    Sure, write an app.

Oops.  Missed the no code comment.

But it would be fairly trivial, I would think, to write an app to check if the Push Notification system is running.

Since you posted in the Developer forum, I assumed you had an interest in develment.

If you want to, watch the Stanford iOS class videos on iTunes (free).

Also, there is a ton of documentation available via developer.apple.com (free developer account required; some material (but not the documentation) is restricted to paid members only).
