iPhone 5 warranty

I am curious about iPhone 5 warranty.


I have had my phone for like 40 days (purchase date mid Dec) and now my power button doesnt work at all, i cant even press it.

I havent dropped it, never had a broken screen, havent opened the the interior of the phone, has never had any water spilt on it and has always had a screen cover and case on it.


I purchased it outright from the Apple store online.  How do i go about getting it replaced??
