I am interested in hooking up a monitor with my Macbook Pro 13'' (late 2012 - non retina).
What is the highest resolution monitor that my laptop will be able to support?
Thanks in advance!
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
For the internal display, the maximum resolution is 1280x800. If you connect an external display, it depends of the maximum resolution of your external display and the connector you use
It will scale higher resloutions if you are screen sharing, but the highest true resolution is the screen's native resolution, 1280 x 800.
Your 2012 13" MBP supports "up to 2560x1600 pixels on an external display", as quoted here: http://www.apple.com/uk/macbook-pro/specs/
