After a regular re-syncing of my oPhone 4S to my Lenovo laptop, all of my non-resident (non-original) apps have ceased working. The screen jumps when I select one as if it is going to open the app, and then returns to the original screen.  I have un-authorized and then re-authorized iTunes on my laptop, and have performed both soft and hard restarts of my iPhone. It seems this is a common problem which Apple somehow refuses to acknolwedge.  Can anyone help here???

    I don't understand what you mean by "non-resident (non-original)".

Anyway, are you certain all your apps were purchased by the same Apple ID?  Further, is that the Apple ID that you un-authorized and re-authorized?

You can check which Apple ID purchased the apps by right clicking (control-clicking) the app in iTunes on your computer and choosing "Get Info".

If the Apple ID is different from yours, it needs to be authorized on that computer and then re-synch.

Download a free app from the App Store. Once it downloads, your other apps should work properly again.

Occasionally, the security settings get jiggered. Upgrades will cause it rarely. Downloading a new app resets them.
