Thank you for your help KCStudio, I shall take a look - I have had some help from a different forum and now have managed to get the MIDI to send to the VL2. When you press the key on the MIDI keyboard it changes the key of the harmony backups in the VL2. I just get no sound of the keyboard- just the change in harmony- is this right?
I am also trying to get the guitar to connect to the VL2 and also in Logic with my setup.
I also want to be able to use a backing track to set the harmonies- which I heard is possible, via Aux input on the VL2, however I cant get this to work either, the M-audio doesnt have the 1/8 AUX in it, rarther it used the 1/4 end for headphones. Any advice in with regards to this would be great.
Here is an image of the interface I have - (http://www.activesplit.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/m-audio-fast-track-ultra-f ront-rear.jpg)
This is the VL2 - (http://www.tc-helicon.com/products/voicelive-2-extreme/)
Finally I now notice a slight low fuzz comming though my monitors, any ideas why this may be?
Thanks again, Have a great day too!

Some screenshots of your Mixer in Logic would give a better picture on how to advice. The buzzy noise can have a lot of causes, starting from faulty ground connections or loose sleeve connection of the same. Try to recall what has changed, before and after this buzz has appeared.

I tried getting a full screenshot but it was too blurred, is this the relevant section of the screen?
Once I can get the guitar connected as well as the backing track, (the thing I found with the backing track was that the audio interface doesnt have an AUX input, but the VL2 does, since i am using an interface, I cant use the AUX in the imac, there is a 1/4 headphone jack in the interface though..)- once this is done I can work on establishing what that sound was, it may just be the way I have connected/ cables etc.
Thank you for your responses- I really appreciate it , I am a newbie to this type of stuff!
