iTunes DJ is redundant in iTunes 11. iTunes11 incorporates iTunesDJ across every playlist, and actually greatly expands your options compared to what you could do with iTunes DJ. At first I was horrified "what, no iTunes DJ!?" but finally tried iTunes 11 specifically because the new "Play Next" and "Add to Up Next" with integrated Genius suggestions is far more dynamic. iTunes 11 also is better about not accidentally switching songs, warning you "are you sure you want to clear what you're playing now?" - it's almost like it's designed to feed real time mix shows.
Anyone who was using iTunes to play for a room or run a radio station that's complaining about iTunes DJ being gone hasn't yet expored what they can do in iTunes 11.
I've switched back to iTunes 10.7 for other reasons, but the new dynamic playlist in iTunes 11 is the main feature I really liked.

so how do you see what has played continously. It just to much clicking, and not as intuitive as it was before. Simpmle was better i think. With a glance you could see up next and played.

Click the little clock icon in the playbox..
One click and any song plays next, or goes in the queue. One click, you see what's coming up, or one click you see what's played. There can't be any fewer clicks than that, you just have to get used to it 'cause it's different than the old way, but now any song in your library and any playlist is part of the mix with one click.
