HT1925 Unable to delete C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple

I have windows 7 and I removed iTunes and related components from the control panel but the Apple folder under C:\Program Files\Common Files is still there. I tried deleting it but I always receive an error saying “Folder In Use.” I have looked through task manager and it’s not  - what am I missing?
